There are windows to the water all along the boat, which gives plenty of light and air.

- Sofa bed: 140 x 200 cm (55 x 79 in)
- Height of ceilings: 198 cm (79 in or 6.5 feet)

The property is located in the Jordaan, where you will find not only history and culture, but fun too, because this neighbourhood is famous for the variety of cafés, restaurants, markets and its bohemian life. Read more on "area description" here below.

The Jordaan Houseboat is offered just for 60 days per year, according to rules of the city council of Amsterdam. For that reason, there are not many days available and we recommend booking in advance.

Map of location

Area description

The Jordaan is “the place to be” if you’re looking for charm and personality. Culture, history and diversity assemble in each corner.

It was once a very poor area of Amsterdam, taken by the hippies on the 60's, and now has become a truly exciting and diverse area to explore. Its cafés and the Dutch people hanging around have a different character comparing with other areas of the city. There are hundreds of small shops, funny Amsterdam houses, churches and museums, all within a short walk of your accommodation.

There is also the convenience of being close to Central Station, Anne Frank House, Dam Square, Leidseplein, the Flower Market and The Nine Little Streets. You can easily reach other areas of city taking one of our trams.
Most of the touristic areas are walking distance from the houseboat, as listed here below:

Shopping area: 1 min
Anne Frank House: 5 min
Dam Square: 10 min
Central Station: 10 min
Red Light District: 15 min
Rijksmuseum: 20 min
Rembrandtplein: 20 min
Van Gogh Museum: 25 min

If you're renting a bike, there is enough space in front of your boat to lock it.

Don't miss:

Saturdays Market: Noordermarkt (eco market) and Lindengracht (food and clothes)
Mondays Market: Noordermarkt (second hand) and Westerstraat (fabrics and clothes)

Beds sizes

- Double bed: 160 x 200 cm (63 x 79 in)
