Close to Central Station you will find Luctor Bed & Breakfast Houseboat, exclusively for two guests. An original "klipperaak", built in 1913, now converted into a comfortable, romantic apartment, moored on one of the most beautiful canals of Amsterdam in the city centre - with splendid views!
The B&B area in this romantic houseboat is split on three levels. And with your own entrance into the wheel cabin you are totally private from the owners part of the boat, so can come and go as you please.
From the wheel cabin you enter the deckhouse, with internet connection,TV, coffee and tea, and the private shower and toilet. Three steps down you descend into the captain's hut: an intimate but surprisingly spacious bedroom with a double bed.
Weather permitting the owners serve your breakfast on the large jetty. Otherwise you have it on your wheel cabin, which is also very nice.
There are two bicycles waiting for you to get around in Amsterdam, but why not take a Canadian canoe to explore the canals? It's great fun and free for use! And it contributes to the green, environmental responsible way the owners run their ship, with solar energy and organic products to mention just a few.

Map of location
With it's rich Dutch maritime history, the Westerdok is a quiet place in the centre of Amsterdam, very close to Central Station, with great restaurants, cafe's and shops around the corner, as the recently opened REMeiland restaurant, a great place on a magnificent location.
You will definitely enjoy the Haarlemmerdijk and Haarlemmerstraat, two famous streets, which offer a pleasant combination of all kinds of restaurants, as well as trendy and classic shops.
The Jordaan, as well as the Prinseneiland, famous for their historic houses, canals and great views, are just a couple of minutes walk from your boat.
Don't miss the Noordermarkt: on Mondays a fabric and flea market; on Saturdays organic market.
Five minutes walk more you'll be at Anne Frank House. Better to book your tickets online in advance! You can also get discounts and line jump tickets through our website with this link, a must if you are going to be visiting any of the museums!
From Central Station you can reach any other part of the city with our excellent public transport, like Leidseplein, Vondelpark or the Museum Square, where you'll find the three major museums in the city centre: Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijkmuseum (Modern Art).
For music lovers the range is wide, from het Concertgebouw (classical), till Paradiso (pop and rock), or "Muziekgebouw aan Het IJ" (modern and jazz), this last one very close to Central Station.
You may wish to look at the city from another angle: the Heineken experience!
The list is endless, and if you get tired of strolling around, take our canoe or rent an electric boat...
Parking space is always available near the boat, but parking in Amsterdam is expensive! The solution: parking your car in an affordable parking garage close to the boat or Park and Ride on the outskirts! More info on your booking confirmation.
