Set in a historic canal house dated from the XVI century, the Prinsengracht Studio is a romantic accommodation for couples or individuals on holidays or business trip.
This studio is an excellent choice as vacation rental, because it is located in the old city centre of Amsterdam, walking distance to the museum square, flower market and many other famous spots.
It is located in front of the canal and, weather permitting, you can even have breakfast sitting on the edges of the canal. There are many cafés and restaurants in the area too.
The studio offers an open space with a comfortable double bed and a sofa. You'll find a small but well equipped kitchen attached to this area, and a nice bathroom with bathtub.
This accommodation is set on the souterrain, typical in Amsterdam's historical buildings: just 3 floors down the street level. There is no wheelchair access (because of those few steps).
This studio offers also a safe box, if you need that, although everything is pretty safe in Amsterdam, and nobody will get in your home while you're there.
Good quality furniture and linen, comfort and privacy. The marbled floor heating is a must in the winter!
Strictly non smoking! Also not allowed in front of the building, because the neighbours upstairs don't want your smoke getting into their apartment.
Just walk please 50 m to smoke on the bridge, with beautiful views, and everybody will be happy.
Read the area description here below for more info.
Map of location
The Prinsengracht is the most famous canal in Amsterdam and also the one who hosts many events, like the Grachten Festival (on the water classical music festival) and the Gay Pride Canal Parade (amazing and funny boat parade).
The area where you’ll be staying is very residential and calm, yet just a few minutes walk to get to the best hotspots of Amsterdam!
You’ll be at walking distance to the Museumplein, the square where the most famous museums are located - Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk Museum (Modern Art Museum), but also to the Flower Market, Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein squares, the trendy street called Utrechtsestraat, the Albert Cuyp Market (open all days, except on Sundays) and many beautiful canals all around you.
And more: trendy cafés, different kinds of restaurants, shops of all sorts of articles - like clothes, furniture and many others, including our biggest audio and video shops in Amsterdam, Concerto.
Further areas, like the Jordaan, Central Station, Dam Square and Leidseplein, are just a couple of trams stops away.
